BIOGRAPHY
I was born in small city some time ago. Even though art has no big influence on my people there, I was creating as a little girl simple art, like creating my own dolls, and drawing stories to tell my sisters and my friends. As a young woman I moved to a big city in Syria where I met artists and saw art which inspired me to study and create art. A few years later the war in Syria started, so I moved to Canada where I continued to create paintings and also write and illustrate children books.

As an artist I am satisfying my curiosity related to the complexities of perception and nuances of my own internal experience. As story teller I was attracting to stories of self discovery and inspiration within a daunting or difficult existence.

I love the process of painting; making marks on canvas or paper to reveal my interior world is for me very private and precious.
